Phil learnt to play the piano at school and first performed publicly in 2001 at his parent's 25th wedding anniversary.
He joined up with fellow musician Ollie Clark in 2003 to create the piano/drums duo.

Ollie learnt to play drums from his dad, a professional drummer in his own right.
He also taught himself to play the guitar and now plays both instruments fluently within the band.
